Fri, Dec. 1 – Homegrown Productions annual Holiday Show – 7:30 p.m. Homegrown
will be presenting the recreation of a radio show entitled, “Twas the Night
Before Christmas” that first aired on Dec. 24, 1951. A fun evening of great
holiday entertainment! Tickets are at $5 each – children under 10 free!
Sat, Dec. 2 -“Elvis & Friends Toys for Tots Benefit Show” – 7:00 p.m. This show will
feature Willie Nelson, Roy Orbison, Elvis and more! Doors will open at 5:30
with light refreshments, a raffle, door prizes, arts and crafts, and SANTA!!!!
Admission is $10 or an unwrapped toy of that amount. 12 & under are free!
Fri, Dec. 8 – St. Johns Annual Community Christmas Concert – 7:00 p.m.
The St. Johns Community Band will present their 13 th annual Holiday
Concert! Many of your holiday favorites will be performed. There will be a
free will offering for the WC Auditorium lighting project.
Sat, Dec. 9 – “Big Band Christmas Pops” with the Lansing Concert Jazz Band
7:00 p.m. – This special Jazz Holiday Concert is not to be missed! The band
will present a program filled with many of your favorite big band tunes – two
singers will be performing with the band! Tickets will be available at the door
for only $10 – Adults, $5 – Seniors and Students. 12 and under are free!
Fri, Dec. 15 – Mint City Singers “As the World Turns: Fall into Winter” – 7:30 p.m.
Our Community Choir will sing a couple of songs highlighting each month,
September – January. Ellen Hoard will be conducting his holiday concert with
Jeff Richards their accompanist. A free will offering will be collected.
Sat, Dec. 16 – Mountain Town Brass Band Holiday Concert – 7:00 p.m. This Wilson
Center Holiday Finale will be spectacular!!!! Besides the wonderful MT Brass,
the program will feature 2 Internationally renown brass soloists! Direct from
England, Steven Mead, considered the world’s best euphonium player, will be
soloing with the band along with his wife Misa. This will be a concert you
won’t want to miss! A free will offering will be collected for this incredible
once in a lifetime program!
